Where Sialk goes.
Each version ships when it is ready, and a numbered version is finished work.
- Todaynow
the public beta, free
GLSL and p5 sketches, video clips and the library, as layers you mix by hand and save as a show. Every declared control playable. Uncapped, 4K included; no account, no watermark. The full list: what is in the beta.
- v1
the launch
Signed and notarised. Modulation: drive any control from the music or an LFO. Connect your DAW: up to eight stems and its exact tempo, nothing to set up. Studio begins here.
- v2
MIDI
Learn a control by moving it. An in-app update check.
- v3
a structured set, and Windows
Cues, master, blackout, tap tempo. Windows, once its GPU path is proven on real hardware.
- v4
the rig
Several outputs at once: projector, NDI, Syphon, each armed on its own. Layer thumbnails.
- v5
the complete product
A phone and tablet remote. DMX and Art-Net. A last-good-frame watchdog: a crashed visual never shows your audience black.
What Sialk will play next
Three.js, then Cables.gl, then Rive and Spline, in that order. Drop one on Sialk today and it says coming soon, plainly.
Not planned
No node graph: that is TouchDesigner. No clip grid as the thing you perform on: that is Resolume. No recording: your capture tool does it better.
What each version gets, and at what price: pricing.
