Install and first run

Download, open it past macOS, and know what you are looking at.

Install

  1. Get the zip from the download page and unzip it.
  2. Move Sialk to your Applications folder.
  3. It is not signed by Apple yet, so macOS will refuse it once. Open Terminal and run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Sialk.app

After that it opens by double-clicking, every time. Without Terminal: double-click, let macOS refuse, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

What you need

  • A Mac on Apple silicon.
  • Something making sound: Sialk listens to an input device. The built-in microphone counts.
  • A second screen, if the picture should go somewhere. Sialk puts it there by itself.

What you are looking at

One visual is already playing. Left, the picture, exactly what a projector would get. Right, the layer stack, the LIBRARY door under it, and the controls of the selected layer.

Next: your first visual on screen.
